Welcome to NNOBS

NNOBS was born on a shingle ridge in Norfolk whilst having our ears blown back to front by a mild southwester, back in December 2002. The acronymn comes from North Norfolk Occasional Birding Society, a random bunch of Wildlife Trust staff, volunteers and stalkers from Beds, Cambs and Northants, who once every now and again escape from the inland bird desert and head coastwards. Whilst not fully restricted to Norfolk, it is this fabled county where the NNOBS feel truly at home. Skipping among the sea beet, flushing rarities ahead of them, their tales are merry and I hope you enjoy reading these pages.
Yours,
Jono Leadley
